Federal employees (and retirees) will pay an average of 7.4% more for our Federal Employee Health Benefits.  According to an article posted on Government Executive, employees with a self-only option can expect to pay an average of $5.50 more a paycheck, and those on a family plan can expect to pay up around $19.61 more.

As a reminder, federal workers can expect a 1% pay increase this year.  This will be the third year of a 1% pay increase, following three years of frozen pay.
